Dr. Gina Kettig was born and raised in Toms River, New Jersey. She attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then moved to St. Kitts for her veterinary education at Ross University. During her time at Ross, she completed volunteer trips to Costa Rica and Panama, where she really enjoyed helping the local animals. After completing her clinical training at Auburn University, she backpacked through South America with her fellow veterinary graduates. Now she is very excited and proud to be a part of the VCA Alameda East team and live in Colorado. Her professional interests include internal medicine, cardiology, and physical therapy/rehabilitation. In her spare time she loves to cook, ski, and go hiking with her Doberman Pinscher, Kaia.
