Your Community Partners

Caring for pets means meeting a wide range of needs beyond health care. Fortunately, there’s a whole community of organizations and businesses eager to help.

Here’s where to meet the local groups that we recommend to our pet-loving families.

Colorado Helping Hands Foundation

Colorado Helping Hands Foundation's vision is to end economic euthanasia. It raises funds to save the lives of companion animals in situations where their owners cannot afford the needed veterinary care. The foundation was started by Alameda East and 501(c)3 status was granted in 2003.

Freedom Service Dogs

We love Freedom Service Dogs! FSD is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by rescuing dogs and custom training them for individual client needs.

Until June 30, 2011, donations raised at our hospital for Pennies for Pets, a VCA Charities program, will be matched by VCA Charities, doubling the effect of the donation!
