Larry was born and raised in western Nebraska. After graduating high school and attending one year of college, he moved to Denver, attended and graduated from Rose Medical Center’s School of Respiratory Therapy with a 4.0 GPA. While attending school, he worked in the respiratory therapy department at Children’s Hospital in Denver and upon graduation accepted a position as a pulmonary care unit supervisor at Kettering Memorial Hospital in Ohio. Upon being drafted into the Army, his permanent station was at Walson Army hospital in Fort Dix, NJ as the respiratory therapy department supervisor.

After an honorable discharge, he returned to Denver, attended and graduated from Bel-Rea Institute with honors. After graduation in 1983, he accepted the radiology supervisor position for Alameda East and radiology instructor for Bel-Rea. Shortly thereafter, he became the hospital’s purchasing manager and Bel-Rea’s instructor for parasitology, pharmacology, sterile technique and one of the veterinary science courses. After teachings at Bel Rea for 17 years he helped create the hospital’s in-house pharmacy in 2000, where was the supervisor for 4 years. Larry currently continues doing purchasing for the hospital and has been with Alameda East for over 30 years.

His outside interests include residence remodeling, antiques and collectibles, piano, organ, travelling and reading.

Administration

The hospital administration team consists of management personnel who oversee all staff members, hospital activities and the facilities. Together, they keep the hospital running smoothly, ensuring quality patient care and excellent client service.
