Dr. Kate Janczak was born just outside of the Windy City where she was raised to love deep dish pizza and Chicago sports. She graduated with bachelors degrees in both Spanish and Biology from Hope College, in Holland, Michigan before heading to the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine to pursue her life's goal of becoming a veterinarian. After graduating in 2012, she completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at a large referral and emergency hospital in Mesa, Arizona before signing on at VCA Alderwood Companion Animal Hospital. Dr. Janczak is excited to explore everything the great Northwest has to offer. She shares her home with her two mischievous cats, Phoebe and Foxtrot. In her free time, she enjoys reading a good book, playing volleyball, and feeding her shoe addiction.
