Amanda  Anthony, Staff Veterinarian

DVM

Dr. Amanda Anthony grew up in the South Bay and acquired a large zoo of animals at a young age. Some of her past pets have included four Australian shepherds, three cats, birds, lizards, snakes, rodents, a box turtle, and many fish. She attended UC Santa Cruz where she received her Bachelors degree in psychology. She then attended Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with her DVM in May of 2018. She joined our VCA family in June of 2018. She currently has three pets, but is looking to expand. Her animal family includes Darla (a Chihuahua mix), Diva (a Siamese), and Oni (a 12 year old ball python). In her off time she loves to spend time with her family (human and animal) and friends. She likes to paint, carve and spend time outdoors. She can be seen blowing off some steam playing roller derby after a busy day. She hopes that working in a general practice will allow her to develop close relationships with patients, their owners and the community.
