Community Service

VCA Amherst Animal Hospital’s Tails on Trails is a fundraising dog walk held annually in the spring the Saturday before National Pet Week begins. The event is hosted and coordinated by the staff at VCA Amherst Animal Hospital. 100% of the entry fee is donated to Albert’s Angel Fund.

The purpose of the walk is to give the community a fun way to get out and have fun showing off their dogs, and to raise money and awareness of Albert’s Angel Fund.

Albert’s Angel Fund is a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The fund gives adoptable Butte animals a chance at a happy and healthy live by providing them with life saving, life changing medical care.

To date, over $25,000.00 from the Tails on Trails Dog Walk has been donated to Albert’s Angel Fund.
