Dr. Annika Sundby grew up in Stilwell, Kansas, just south of Kansas City. She stayed close to her roots and completed both her undergrad and graduate studies at Kansas State University, graduating in 2018. She then went on to complete a rotating internship at Nashville Veterinary Specialists while also finding her love for small animal surgery. From there she pursued surgical internships beginning here at ASEC for 1 year and on to Ohio State University for another year. We are so thrilled that she has landed back here with us at ASEC to complete her surgical residency with the ultimate goal of becoming a board certified surgeon. Outside of the ASEC world, she enjoys hiking, going to the beach, and really anything outdoors with family and friends.
