Dr. David Gordon received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from UC Davis in 1977. His degree in veterinary medicine took a circuitous route, first starting in California and ending in Italy where he graduated from the University of Perugia in 1983. From 1987 to the present, Dr.Gordon has been the owner, medical director, and now holistic consultant and associate of VCA Arroyo Animal Hospital. He has guided its growth from a 1250 square foot strip-mall space to its current 8000 square foot freestanding building. In his spare time he enjoys reading, music, hiking, traveling, gardening, and physical fitness. He and his wife Sharon have two sons, Daniel (in veterinary school) and Adam (in medical school) and their adopted, rescued, neurotic Yorkshire Terrier, Chauncey.
