Dr. Isabel Grillo graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. She then finished an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Arizona Veterinary Specialist. During her internship and up until moving to Colorado in 2006 she was also practicing emergency medicine. Dr. Grillo started working at VCA Aspenwood in the summer of 2006. She has a particular interest in emergency, critical care, internal medicine, physical therapy and weight control. Dr. Grillo was born and raised in Puerto Rico and speaks fluent Spanish. When not at work Dr. Grillo enjoys spending time with her husband, Wayne, daughter Marialicia and son Hermán. The other members of her family include her cats: Sabino and Elizabeth and her dogs: Hailey, a husky and Zoe, a black lab/border collie mix.
