She is Low Stress Handling Certified, being committed to providing the least stressful, most compassionate experience possible for her patients. She is originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, but came to the Bay Area in 1989, just in time for the big earthquake! A big fan of the outdoors, she enjoys hiking and mountain biking with her husband. She also loves the ocean and was a part-time sea kayaking instructor during veterinary school and is trained in open water diving. Now that they have a toddler in the mix, their new hobbies include trying new restaurants and going to bed early with their Pomeranian, Puccini, and their kitty, Captain Bug!
