Dr. Amy Lehman has been an associate veterinarian in Alaska since 2011. She was born into a US Military family spending much of her childhood in southwest Germany, Florida, North Carolina and northern Philadelphia. Dr. Lehman spent much of her undergraduate studies abroad in Australia, Greece, Germany, England, and Equatorial Guinea. After graduating from Veterinary School in North Carolina Dr. Lehman finally landed in Alaska. Dr. Lehman has special interests in animal behavior & nutrition and orthopedics. In 2013 she began to offer Stem Cell Therapy as an option for treating orthopedic problems in canines. In addition to canine & feline patients Dr. Lehman treats non-venomous reptiles, amphibians and small mammals. At home she cares for an African rescue dog named Djuudu. When not in the hospital Dr. Lehman enjoys travel, reading and spending time with her family.
