Dr. Sarena Olsen is joining VCA Black Mountain from our sister hospital, VCA Nellis. Originally, Dr. Olsen is from Illinois but has toured the country for her academics. She obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois, her master's from the University of Wyoming and, finally, her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University. Her interest in Veterinary Medicine include infectious disease, preventative care and internal medicine. She enjoys educating clients on a multitude of subjects and forming bonds with them and their pets. In her free time she enjoys watching football (Da Bears!) and kayaking.
