Dr. Judith Mason received her DVM degree from the University of Illinois and completed a small animal internship there as well. Originally from Chicago, she and her husband made their home in the Hudson Valley, where she has practiced veterinary medicine since 1985. Her special interests include feline medicine, behavior and dermatology. Having lost her beloved geriatric cat and dog both to cancer recently, her elderly cat Lord Greystoke is now the star of the show. Her adult children are healthcare providers. She volunteers as an ESL tutor and she enjoys hiking, flower arranging and cooking. She hopes to write a book someday.
