Dr. Emma Faulkner is originally from the Kansas City area. She received her undergraduate and Doctor's in Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 2014 and 2016 respectively. She then pursued further training, with a Small Animal Surgery and Internal Medicine Internship at Oklahoma State University, and two Small Animal Surgery Specialty Internships and VCA California Veterinary Specialists-Ontario and VCA West Coast. She worked in the Surgery Department at VCA California Veterinary Specialists-Ontario as an associate prior to starting her Small Animal Surgery Residency in 2021. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary surgery, with a particular interest in minimally invasive procedures.

In her free time she enjoys a variety of activities, including hiking with her dog, Riley, trail riding with her horse, Sage, and practicing the flying trapeze.
