We have 9 veterinarians who practice general practice and emergency medicine. We also have 10 licensed technicians, 14 technicians/vet assistants, 2 pharmacy technicians, and 10 front desk personnel. Most of our staff have worked at VCA Castle Shannon 5 years or more, and many have been there over 10, 15 and even over 30 years! We enjoy working together, and love treating patients like they were our own. Most of the staff have multiple pets of their own, everything from dogs, cats, snakes, birds and small animals. Many of our pets were rescues and we greatly enjoy partnering with the local shelters and rescue groups to provide sponsorships, working at community events and helping animals who are still looking for their forever homes.
