Jackie began working at VCA Causeway Animal Hospital as a part-time receptionist 34 years ago and says she has stayed "because of the wonderful philosophy of the doctors and staff to provide the best of care for the animals". Besides working in Client Services, Jackie has also worked as a kennel attendant, lab technician, surgery technician and presently as Assistant Hospital Manager.

Jackie received her degree in Speech Pathology with a double minor in education and psychology. After providing speech therapy in the public school system for a brief period, she returned to her first love-animals.

Jackie shares her life with her husband of 40 years, Bob, and her cats, Zippy and Studley (a little male that was stuck in a wall as a kitten-hence the name!).
