Community Partners

Caring for pets means meeting a wide range of needs beyond health care. Fortunately, there’s a whole community of organizations and businesses eager to help.

Here’s where to meet the local groups that we recommend to our pet-loving families.

Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire

The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that helps more than 2,200 cats, dogs, and small animals each year. Being more than a shelter, the League also employs one of only three shelter-based Animal Cruelty Investigators in the state. The mission of The Animal Rescue League of NH improves animal welfare in our communities by helping pets and the people who care for them.

Canine Commitment of New England

Canine Commitment of New England has been a 501c3 non-profit since December, 2010. We have two locations that are licensed shelter facilities in the state of NH. In Manchester, Melissa houses pups in her home while awaiting adoption. In New Boston, the pups have their own building on Ross’ property. Between the two locations, and a wonderful group of volunteers that help us care for the dogs, advertise the dogs, and process applications, Canine Commitment is saving hundreds of lives each year – and we continue to grow each year!

Manchester Animal Shelter

At the Manchester Animal Shelter, we believe all animals are deserving of life, respect and care. Our goal is zero-population-growth through spay/neuter programs and services that focus on education, medical care, fostering and adoption. Friends of Manchester Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization which started in 1996. The shelter takes in homeless, abused, and abandoned animals in the city of Manchester. We provide shelter, medical care, and spay/neuter to every animal that comes through our doors. In operation for nearly two decades, the shelter has helped provide care and find loving homes for over 20,000 animals.

Handicapped Pets

At HandicappedPets.com, we believe that our aging, disabled, and injured pets are family and deserve to live happy, healthy lives. HandicappedPets.com was created in 2001 to support the caretakers of elderly, injured, and handicapped pets. We have all of the products, services, and support you'll need for special needs pets.
