Dr. Jed Harding is originally from Oregon and lived with his family in Africa for 6 years while he was growing up. He came to Alaska when he was 18 to go commercial fishing and bought his first boat in 1997. After commercial fishing for 20 years all over the state, he decided to go back to school in 2013. Dr. Harding was accepted into the first class of a new Veterinary Medicine partnership between University of Alaska Fairbanks and Colorado State University in 2015. He graduated with a DVM in 2019 and returned to Alaska to practice. Dr. Harding enjoys getting out on the trails with his rescue pups, Marleaux and Arya.
