Laurel is a college student majoring in psychology with a focus in behavior analysis. She is also in school to become a licensed veterinary technician and hopes to specialize in behavior. Laurel is a Fear Free Certified Professional and utilizes her knowledge and skill set both in and outside the hospital.

Laurel has trained dogs for the past five years and has worked in veterinary medicine the last three. She loves her career in vet med because each day allows her to expand her knowledge. No day or patient is ever the same, which provides plenty of opportunities to grow and learn.

Outside of work, Laurel trains dogs in a variety of venues including, service dog work, agility, tricks, conformation, and rally-o. She is married and lives in Anchorage with her two Collies, Ember and Wraith, and her Border Collie, Kovos.
