Obedience Training

We’re now offering rolling sign up for basic obedience classes for dogs of four months of age and older, taught by Sam Keras, Kennel Manager and CCTA Certified dog trainer at Fitzgerald.

Over 6 weeks, your dog will learn useful skills and manners including sit, down, stay, leave-it commands, proper leashing walking and more. The objective of this class is to set the foundation for a well-behaved pup and strengthen the human-animal bond.

Puppy Social Daycare Program

The importance of proper socialization continues to be on the forefront of puppy behavior. Early prevention of behavioral problems, starting with appropriate socialization, is far better than patient rehabilitation and/or medical intervention later on.

Socialization introduces and familiarizes your puppy to new experiences-including people, places, objects and other animals in ways that help your puppy learn how to respond and interact with these experiences appropriately and without fear.

A properly socialized puppy is well adjusted and makes a great companion.

Our socialization sessions are held Fridays from 7:00 AM-6:00 PM.

Your puppy will be supervised during play, walked regularly and fed a midday meal. Some treats will be used during socialization. Our facility is clean and temperature controlled. Vaccinations must be current.

This daycare is for puppies up to six months of age. We offer day care for our dogs 6 months and older on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
