Dr. Robbins was born and raised in Middletown, CT. She received a bachelor's degree in Biology from Vassar College in 1994. She then spent a few years traveling nationally and internationally, as well as working for the Smithsonian Institution at the Conservation and Research Center in Front Royal, VA. She received a Master's Degree in Wildlife from Utah State University in 2000. She completed her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004. Dr. Robbins then completed a small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at the Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk, CT, in 2005.
Dr. Robbins has a particular interest in exotic medicine, dentistry and oral health, and dermatology, specifically regarding allergies.
In her free time, Dr. Robbins trains in Kung Fu, spends time outdoors and traveling, appreciates new and exotic cuisine, and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She shares her life with her cat, Lillah, and will be adding a parrot to their lives when the right one comes along.
