After graduating from the U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1990, Dr. Andersen completed a one-year small animal internship in Massachusetts before returning to the Sacramento area to continue to practice small animal clinical medicine. Dr. Andersen had practiced at VCA for nearly three decades. His primary interests are in small animal internal medicine and endocrinology, and he particularly enjoys working with cats. Outside of work, he can be found tinkering, learning something new, gardening, hiking or camping or just enjoying the outdoors with his family.
