Jeffrey Johnson

Hospital Manager

Jeff Johnson is a native Texan, and grew up in the Dallas suburbs. He moved to Austin during his teen years, and began his career in the veterinary industry as a kennel assistant. Jeff has been a veterinary technician since 1999, with 5 years experience in Emergency/Critical Care and 12 years in General Practice. Jeff originally joined the VCA Lakeline team in 1999 and was with us until 2006 when he and his wife, Shannon, moved to Anchorage, Alaska. He spent 3 years in Alaska working at Emergency Pet Treatment, Inc. and can be seen in old episodes of the Animal Planet TV series "Clinically Wild" where he obtained the title, “Master Porcupine Quill Remover.” Jeff returned to VCA Lakeline in 2010 and is now our Hospital Manager.

Jeff and his wife have 2 beautiful daughters, Hayden and Harper, and 2 dogs, Lucy and Chickadee. Jeff has a passion for fly-fishing, all things Christmas and "Elf", gnomes, and making and eating salsa.
