I graduated from UNT with a Bachelor's of Business Administration and spent 20+ years in the corporate world.
In 2009 I decided to follow my heart and go back to school so that I could work with animals. I went to Cedar Valley College where I graduated with an Associate's in Applied Sciences in 2011. I then passed the state and national board exams to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
In 2012 I found my new home at VCA Lakewood Animal Hospital where I continue to learn and develop my skills working with the knowledgeable and compassionate doctors here.
I share my home with my husband Mike, Penelope a 9-year-old Chihuahua, Diego a 4-year-old Ragdoll, and Larry a 2-year-old Russian Blue cat.
