Dr. Kristie Adrian grew up in rural New Hampshire with a wide array of family pets, from dogs and cats, to birds, reptiles, and ferrets. She completed her undergraduate education in the White Mountains at Plymouth State University. She then attended veterinary school at Tufts University in Massachusetts before starting her career in Austin, Texas. Dr. Adrian and her husband embraced the Texan lifestyle by adopting the Texas state breed, the Blue Lacy dog, along with their toothless brindled mutt. Dr. Adrian worked in both a busy general practice seeing dogs, cats, and exotics, as well as a non-profit clinic providing services to lower income communities throughout Central Texas. Dr. Adrian moved to San Jose in 2013 and joined the VCA team.
Dr. Adrian particularly enjoys dentistry, nutrition, general surgery, and preventative care. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with husband and two rescue dogs hiking in nearby parks. Her hobbies include photography, cooking, and traveling.
