Jerry Greene, Medical Director
Dr. Greene was born in Brooklyn, NY and also lived in upstate, NY. Dr. Green earned his BS in breeding and genetics at the University of Illinois. He then earned his DVM degree at Cornell University. Dr. Green did a surgical internship and residency at Purdue University, where he got his Masters degree in surgery.
Dr. Greene's career spans 44 years (as of 2019) and he has been the Medical Director of VCA Little Animal Hospital for 10 years! One thing that he loves about the Veterinary field is the variety that comes with seeing multiple patients during the course of the day!
Dr. Greene was past president of the American Veterinary Law Association. He has also been an expert witness for the state of Florida for over 25 years. Dr. Greene has lectured in the U.S. as well as Mexico and Europe.
When he is not at work, Dr Greene spends time with his wife, as well as reading or gardening. He has 2 children, Lydia and Jared. A picture of granddaughter, Adelina, will always bring a smile to his face!
Dr. Greene is owned by "The Flash"… a rescue cat that he adopted from Little Animal Hospital about 10 years ago.
