Dr. G was born in Texas, but spent the majority of her life in Colorado. She graduated from Colorado State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry, then headed overseas with her cat to pursue veterinary school at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in January 2022 and returned to Colorado (with three cats this time) to be closer to friends and family.
As the proud owner of three exceptionally silly cats, Dr. G is passionate about feline medicine and care. She enjoys a good challenge, and strongly feels that every feline patient receives appropriate handling, care, and thorough attention. In addition to our feline friends, Dr. G holds interests in pain management and anesthesia, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery.
Dr. G is generally very low-key in her day-to-day life, and enjoys the simple pleasures of sleeping in, a piping hot cup of coffee, hanging out with friends and family, playing video games, and sitting on a sunny rock like a lizard (ideally with a margarita in hand). She also enjoys spending time with her cats: Quiggles, Ting, and Dindy (uncharacteristically the only one who cooperated for the picture).
