Elena joined the VCA team in 2012 bringing with her over 30 years of experience. She currently serves as our hospital's Lead Registered Veterinary Technician and Controlled Substance Manager. Her special interests include Emergency medicine, surgery, exotics, teaching, and Fear Free practices, having become Fear Free certified in 2022.
Outside of work Elena enjoys reading, plants, the beach, and spending time with her two beautiful sons. Elena is currently owned by two dogs, Radar and Finley, and one sweet old cat named Edward Bunny Hopper.
