Courtney Bufalino, Staff Veterinarian
Courtney Bufalino was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a BS in Biology and then moved to Ohio where she attended the Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine, to obtain her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She then moved to Tennessee where she worked in small animal general practice just outside of Nashville. After a year in Tennessee she decided to move back home and work for VCA Mountain Vista Animal Hospital.
Dr. Bufalino knew from a young age that she wanted to work with animals. She started working in the veterinary field in 2010 as a kennel assistant. After many years of hard work and dedication, she finally achieved her dream of being a veterinarian. Within the veterinary field, the two subjects that interest her the most are neurology and ophthalmology. She has two Australian Shepherds named Stella and Riley.
Outside of veterinary medicine Dr. Bufalino also has a passion for lindyhop (a type of swing dancing) and has competed in several competitions. Additionally, some of her other hobbies include: scuba diving, hiking and kayaking.
