Michael Moka, Veterinary Assistant
Michael began his career with animals in 2012 when he joined a veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant. He learned the ropes and improved his skills over a 2 year period with them. He took a short break from veterinary medicine but eventually realized it was where his heart was so he joined VCA North Rockville in October 2018. He currently owns a sweet Shih Tzu named Rocky and a Beta fish named Willy.
"I love all types of animals. The world has almost 7.6 billion people but has 8.7 million animals in the world. We are not alone in this world and animals are a big part of the world and my life. I love being in an environment that helps cats and dogs and to see the happiness in their owners faces. No matter how stressful a day is, a cat and/or a dog can definitely brighten your day. Always up beat and happy to see you. There is no comparison to how they can uplift you."
