"Reviewing the ABCs of ECGs" - Thursday, September 19th

Join Dr. Michael Lovasz, DVM, MS (practice limited to Anesthesia) as he reviews: 

  • Calculate spontaneous heart rate at 25 and 50mm/sec
  • Identify the parts of ECG (What's going on at each point)
  • Common causes for arrhythmias
  • Review the roles of electrolytes in cardiac muscle function
  • Identify common arrhythmias
  • Discuss antiarrhythmic therapy
  • Putting it all together: ECGs you will encounter

Radiation Safety for X-Ray Operators

This 10-hour radiation safety training course is designed to educate x-ray operators on the principles of radiation safety as it relates to the use of x-ray devices in diagnostic medicine. This course satisfies requirements set forth in the Oregon Administrative Rules.  It is offered on a monthly basis here at VCA NWVS in Clackamas, Oregon.
