Dr. Vanessa Rozo
Emergency Veterinarian
Dr. Vanessa Rozo
Dr. Vanessa Rozo joined VCA Northwest Veterinary Specialists in June 2020 after graduating from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree from Boston College with a Double Major in Biology and Hispanic Studies. During Veterinary School, Dr. Rozo kept very busy working as both an emergency surgical technical assistant as well as an ophthalmology technician. It was during her time with the Ophthalmology team that she discovered her special interest in all things "eye".

Originally from New Jersey, we are thrilled Dr. Rozo decided to continue her way westward from Colorado to Portland. Throughout her travels across the U.S., Dr. Rozo has brought along her 11-year-old Lakeland Terrier, Theresa. When relaxing off the job, Dr. Rozo spends her time spinning and doing yoga Pilates – all while keeping a watchful eye on Theresa, as she has learned the art of opening zippers to find out what's inside!
