VCA Animal Hospitals Offers Free Boarding for Pets Displaced by Saddleridge Wildfire in Southern California

LOS ANGELES--VCA Animal Hospitals is offering free boarding assistance for dogs and cats, and other species, that have been displaced by the Saddleridge fire that broke out in Sylmar and spread to Porter Ranch and other communities. Approximately 100,000 people are under mandatory evacuation orders.

“At VCA, pet health is our top priority at all times, including during unforeseen emergencies like these devastating wildfires,” said Dr. Bob Doak, senior vice president of VCA Animal Hospitals. “Our VCA Adler hospital in the area is extending free boarding for pets so families can focus on the wildfire emergency, knowing their pets are in a safe and caring environment.”
