Alisha is a Pacific Northwest native, being born and raised in Spokane, Washington. She graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology in 2012. She has worked with a large variety of animals as a zookeeper intern and veterinary assistant, ranging from small hamsters to polar bears and walruses. Alisha has been working in small animal vet med as a veterinary assistant since 2015 and joined the VCA River City team in 2021. In her spare time, Alisha enjoys country line and swing dancing as well as spending time with family and friends. She has a very cute rescue dog named Cody and two Guinea pigs, Jaque and Gus.
