Dr. Yoanna Martin received her doctorate in 2018 from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Martin was born and raised in Florida and has been here her whole life. Her "small zoo" consists of a silly yorkie named "Crystal", a serious cat named "Boots", a fearless bearded dragon named "Cheeto", and a shy leopard gecko named "Mango." In her spare time, she loves going to the beach and enjoying the Florida sun.

Dr. Martin chose to pursue a career in veterinary medicine because she wanted to devote her life to helping the animals that have become an essential part of the family. Furry, scaly and feathery friends bring so much happiness and love into our lives without speaking a single word. She hopes she can provide the compassion, the best quality medicine, and the care that animals deserve in both their times of health and their times of need.
