Dr. Spencer Yeh, DVM, DACVS,  is a board certified veterinary surgeon. Dr. Yeh, originally from Cupertino, CA, attended UC Berkeley, where he studied Molecular Biology and minored in Music. He went on to attend veterinary school at UC Davis, graduating with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Upon graduation, he completed a one year small animal rotating internship at Animal Medical Center in New York followed by a one year surgical internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists. In pursuit of becoming a veterinary surgeon, he underwent a three-year surgical residency at Angell Animal Medical Center. Dr. Yeh joined our team at VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center in 2020.

Dr. Yeh's professional interests include orthopedic surgery (including arthroscopy, angular limb deformity correction, and fracture repair), soft tissue surgery (wounds), reconstructive surgery, minimally invasive surgeries, cardiothoracic surgery, subcutaneous ureteral bypass, and surgical oncology. Outside of work, Dr. Yeh enjoys cooking (and eating the fruits of his labor), exercising, visiting microbreweries, playing videogames, and gardening. He is also a self-professed "huge nerd." As such, he named his three pets after Star Trek characters. They include: Red, a 10-year-old Labrador, and two cats, Spock and Tiberius.
