Carissa grew up in Columbia County, New York and studied biology at Columbia-Greene Community College and SUNY New Paltz. After working in land conservation for several years, she attended SUNY Ulster's Veterinary Technology program and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2011. Carissa has worked in emergency care, diagnostics and practice accreditation. Carissa's primary focus as Hospital Manager is building a strong and supportive practice culture and a healthy future for veterinary professionals.
