Anthony has years of experience working in management for general practice, specialty, and emergency veterinary hospitals. In addition to being our Hospital Manager, Anthony is also a Certified Trainer for VCA, responsible for welcoming new hires to the VCA team, and fostering a sense of belonging and pride through the sharing of important company beliefs and culture. He specializes in training around effective communication tools and skills.

The bulk of Anthony's management experience in the field of social work, helping some of the more marginalized members of society. His experience working with people has proven quite useful in the veterinary field. Anthony's passion, however, is animals - particularly turtles. For years, he worked with the veterinary community during his part in developing and helping operate theTurtleRoom, a non-profit organization that works to educate the public on the plight of turtles and tortoises, and also to preserve and conserve them. His book on a rare genus of Asian turtle was published in 2016 and in 2017 he was recognized as the Reptile Report's "Chelonian Personality of the Year."
