Heather's love for animals started when she was very young, often saying she wanted to be a vegetarian when she grew up, unable to pronounce the word "veterinarian." Heather's career in veterinary medicine started in 2022 as a receptionist. Within 6 months, she moved into a Veterinary Assistant position and started school to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. When Heather isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three teenagers, and her two dogs. She enjoys reading, writing, and anything that allows her to be creative.
