Nicole Wyatt, Staff Veterinarian

Dr. Nicole Wyatt is a Minnesota native and obtained her veterinary degree from Western University in 2014. Following veterinary school, Dr. Wyatt completed a small animal rotating medicine and surgery internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. Following the internship Dr. Wyatt relocated to Fort Collins, Colorado to complete a 3-year cardiology residency at Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. During her residency Dr. Wyatt also obtained a Master's degree with a research focus on congenital heart disease and aberrant coronary artery development. Dr. Wyatt joined VCA Animal Care Center of Sonoma County in August 2018. Dr. Wyatt enjoys all aspects of cardiology but maintains a special interest in congenital heart disease. Working with owners as a team to maintain the cherished human-animal bond after a diagnosis of heart disease is very important to her.

When she is not at work, she is often spending time with her two dogs and fiancé. They enjoy indulging in local cuisine, exploring the outdoors, attending live music events, or watching a hockey game.
