Lucy, a 2006-model chocolate Labrador retriever - who is super patient with the Border collies and is an excellent hunting dog.

Kitty, an orange and white cat adopted from the local humane society in 2002. She runs the farm and rules the dogs.

Assorted chickens and sheep

Personal Facts: Barb grew up primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area but then had to buy much warmer clothing when she went to vet school in Wisconsin. She loves to spend time with her husband of 20+ years and their college-age son and enjoys training for triathlons, camping, and herding sheep with the Border collies.
