Dr. Lee Izen is a 1971 graduate of Auburn University. He practiced Veterinary medicine in Maryland for five years before moving to Atlanta and opening VCA Terrell Mill Animal Hospital in 1976. The original facility was located across the street but due to the widening of Powers Ferry Road in 1999, he was forced to move the Hospital. Dr. Izen served as the President of the Cobb Emergency Veterinary Clinic for 4 years (1998-2002), the GVMA President (2003) and also served on the Board of the GVMA for several years. He has also served on the Novartis and Bayer National Advisory Committees.
Dr. Izen has three grandkids, Tyler, Bailey and his newest addition Emme. His hobbies are being a "Papa" and an a devoted Auburn football fan. He has one pet who is the TMAH mascot named Maddie.
