Emily, Veterinary Assistant

Emily has been a veterinary assistant with VCA Three Notch Animal Hospital since August 2020. Having had an interest in the medical field and an overwhelming love for animals, Emily decided that the veterinary field would be the perfect fit. Emily received her general studies degree from the College of Southern Maryland in 2018, and then went on to receive her certification for veterinary assisting in 2019. Emily has held several different positions in the hospital. Starting as an Animal Care Assistant, Emily transitioned to Veterinary Assistant, and is now part of VCA Three Notch's surgery team. Emily spends her free time with her two black labs, Ellie and Rosie; her cat, Milo; and her bunny, Clover.

"I love what I do. I get to come to work every day and be surrounded by animals, and not many people are able to do that. Ensuring the safety and well-being of people's pets is such an important job, and t takes a strong person to be able to do this line of work. I am proud of what I do and am excited for the future and the experiences it brings with it."
