Laura Mershon, Veterinary Assistant

Laura was born and raised in New Jersey where she graduated from Pemberton Township High School in 2010. After graduating, she started working at a mental rehabilitation center, where she enjoyed caring for and loving those who needed it the most. Laura was there for four years until she relocated to Tennessee where she first joined the VCA family at the VCA Care Center of Mt. Juliet, as a kennel care member for a year. Laura then transferred to the VCA Terrell Mill Animal Hospital family where she is now a Veterinary Assistant.

In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time with her family and snuggling up to her 2 furry kids, Capone and Steve while watching Supernatural. Laura also enjoys using her hands to build and craft things around her house to add color to everyone’s life.

Laura loves to show compassion and attentiveness for those animals that are in her care. She enjoys giving them the best affection and care that they deserve.
