Emily rejoined our practice in June of 2020 as the Surgical Liaison after leaving to work in general practice for 10 years. Having originally started as a kennel attendant, Emily has slowly worked her way up, and towards becoming a Veterinary Technician. She is currently studying to take the Veterinary Technician National Exam.  

From the moment she started working in the veterinary field, she fell in love with it. She loves having the ability to help all of the pets that come through the Surgery Department as one of the Surgical Liaisons. When not working, she enjoys writing, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. Emily has also volunteered with local rescue groups and currently has 3 rescue dogs at home. 2 out 3 of her fur babies currently have chronic conditions that need to be managed closely.  Jaeger is a 12 year old Staffordshire Terrier who came to her with Heartworm disease, Mione is a 3 year old Havanese, and finally is Raymund, who is a 1 and a ½ year old Havanese Shih Tzu mix that was born blind.
