Bridget Monson, Hospital Administrator

Bridget Monson was raised in Minnesota. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management in 1993 with a Management and Finance Degree. She completed her Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration from Carlson School of Management in 2006. She started her career working in healthcare management at specialty clinics including Occupational Health, OB/GYN and Dermatology. After graduating with her Master’s Degree, Bridget had an opportunity to join the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center as the Specialties Manager. She was promoted to Director of Small Animal Receiving Services. In 2009, she was part of the team of veterinary professionals that opened the first BluePearl Veterinary Partners in Minnesota. Bridget returned to the Veterinary Medical Center in 2011 as Director of Customer Service. The warm weather and new adventure took her to California in 2016. Bridget started with VCA as the Hospital Administrator of West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. She is delighted at the opportunity to now be a part of the VCA West Coast Team.

Bridget is excited to bring her 25 years of healthcare management, client service and finance experience to the team. Bridget has a daughter, son-in-law, and son who is currently in college at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. She is a pet parent to Hercules, a 10-year-old Papillon American Eskimo. Bridget is a sports enthusiast who will forever be a Minnesota fan. She enjoys golfing, reading and spending time at the beach enjoying the California weather. She is looking forward to being back in Orange County where some of her extended family live.
