Why did you choose to specialize in Veterinary Internal Medicine and Cardiology? I wanted a profession that made a difference in the lives of people and animals. It’s great to be able to keep the human/animal bond strong and thriving. I love the variety and fast pace of ER. It’s a great feeling to be able to send an animal home to their family when they were once in a critical condition.
Why do you choose to practice at VCA West Coast? VCA West Coast is a great hospital that pushes for advancement in the veterinary field and leads the way in high-quality medicine, patient care, client and referring veterinary communication. It is a great place to advance new skills and expand knowledge.
What do you enjoy doing outside of practicing medicine? Anything that gets me outdoors – cycling, hiking, kayaking, and snowboarding. I also enjoy baking with my nieces, traveling, and spending time with my dog— Scooter.
