Your first visit will allow us to get to know each other, check your pet's health, and begin wellness care to help prevent against future illnesses.
During your pet’s first visit, your veterinarian will do a head-to-tail exam and check overall health, including the skin and coat, eyes and ears, teeth and gums, heart, lungs and other vital organs.
The veterinarian will also check your pet for fleas, ticks and other external parasites.
Your veterinarian will also ask questions about your pet’s diet, habits and activities, and discuss overall health and wellness including:

If your pet needs vaccines prior to boarding we try to get them updated 2 weeks in advance of your drop off date to ensure the lowest risk possible for your pet and for the other animals in our care. If this is not possible, please give us a call at (614) 890-1625 so we may discuss the options. Drop-off time for boarding are: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. We do have Sunday pick-up only from 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm. We are not open on select holidays.
Grooming drop-off time is between 8:00 am - 8:30 am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you need to speak with our groomer prior to drop-off, Sally is here by 8:00 am.
Tuesday: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
When your pet is scheduled for a surgery, we require your pet to be at the hospital between 8:00 am - 8:30 am. The hospital opens for drop-offs at 8:00 am. Remember not to let you pet have any food after 10:00 pm the night before your pets scheduled surgery, but do not restrict water. If you pet is on morning medication, please give the medicine in 1 teaspoon of food or less.
