Dr. Amber Alu has her DVM from Western University of Health Sciences, and her B.S. in Animal Science and Animal Behavior from University of California, Davis. Prior to going to Western, she worked as a veterinarian technician and volunteered extensively with animal rescue. Amber is passionate about her profession, her patients and her clients, and is honored to be part of the Westmoreland team. She has a special interest in small pocket pets in addition to dogs and cats. Amber moved to Eugene in October 2013 and enjoys exploring Oregon with her husband, Adam, and their one-year-old son, Brayden. Her household includes dogs, cats, chickens and ducks. Amber enjoys trail running and triathlons, and is an avid amateur photographer.
