Dr. Wittlich considers veterinary medicine her third career. She started out in law enforcement with the Oklahoma State Narcotics Bureau while working on her Bachelors in computer science from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. After graduation she worked for ten years writing computer software for mainframes before returning to school to earn her DVM. She graduated from Oklahoma State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. Her special interests include cardiology, canine rehab and soft tissue surgery. The biggest joy she gets in her work is becoming involved with her patient families, and seeing their fur babies change over the years, from infants through the senior years. She works hard to provide the best possible medical care for her patients within the philosophical, emotional, and financial boundaries set by her clients. While Dr. Wittlich loves dogs of all shapes and sizes, she gets her dog fix through her work. At home she has two cats and a Tennessee Walking horse, and spends all her spare time either at the barn or out on the trail.
